South African National Parks (SANParks) Conservation Fees

SANParks confirms the following levies that are applicable to guests taking a scheduled Airlink flight to Skukuza Airport are as follows:

1. For passengers arriving at Skukuza Airport who are holding confirmed reservations at one of the southern Sabi Sand conservancy lodges (Sabi Sabi, Mala Mala, Lion Sands, Notten Bush Camp and Kirkmans Kamp) and are being met by the lodge staff for transportation to their lodge via the Toulon gate access point, a SANParks conservation fee will not be charged. In simple terms, all passengers who are being transferred by a southern Sabi Sand lodge vehicle which turns left on exiting the airport parking lot and passes through the control boom onto the private road to the left of the airport terminal building will be exempted from the charge.

2. All other passengers arriving at Skukuza Airport who are then proceeding to their final destination, Sabi Sand western and northern sectors, Kruger concession lodges and camps or exiting the park, traveling through the control point which is on the right of the terminal building on exiting the airport parking lot (over the cattle grid) will be required to comply with the SANParks regulations with regards to the payment of the applicable SANParks Conservation fee. A SANParks control point will be implemented at this access point to the airport precinct to ensure compliance.
